I am in PNG at the moment after just finishing the 1st week of a 4 week stint on the road. I competed in the Morobe Open and finished in a tie for 3rd on 14 under with rounds of 63,68,73,66. As you can see I have had a solid 3 rounds for this tournament but no doubt the 3rd round is where I did some damage and left my run too late to catch the eventual winner Josh Younger who finished 2 shots ahead of me on 16 under.

It was the usual high 30′s with very high humidity every day and the boys down some serious amounts of water over the week with the sweat just pouring out of us all day every day. I deal with this pretty well and keep myself well hydrated with my “Mydrade” drinks which do the trick. This tournament has been good to me in the past with a win and 3rd in my previous 2 appearances and now another 3rd.

I am really keen to get some consistency over the full 4 days this coming week in Port Moresby where we will contest the PNG Open, my 3rd time over here and where I have finished with a win and 7th placing previously. My game is in good shape and I am improving mentally with each tournament I get under my belt.

After Moresby this week, I move onto Korea for the 2nd event on the One Asia schedule but will check in with you all before embarking on my Korean campaign.
